The Hamptons have unveiled plans to develop an “elegant and groundbreaking new luxury community” on the coastline of Northern Greece near the cities of Kavala and Thessaloniki.
The Hamptons Greece will consist of luxury villas, amenities, and a 5-star hotel. The luxury community will also have access to almost one kilometer (0.6 miles) of private beaches.
The 280 homes and villas within the new luxury community will have a starting price of $548,000. Ownership of a Hamptons villa will also open the door for homeowners to acquire a converted Golden Visa.
The Hamptons Greece new project
According to the Hamptons website, the new development is set to bring “the exclusive luxury and living standards of Hamptons, New York in the historic and celebrated shores of beautiful Greece.”
The luxury community is being constructed on 149,000 square meters (1,603,822 square feet) of beachfront estate in Northern Greece that is just an hour away from the cities of Thessaloniki and Kavala.
The Hamptons chose Northern Greece for its “unmatched geographical, historical, cultural and even culinary diversity.”
The new luxury community will be “surrounded by the shimmering Aegean Sea, idyllic mountains and picturesque olive groves.” Residents of the upcoming complex will be able to enjoy “great stretches of green mountains, lakes, forest and the blue coastlines.”
Iranian-Canadian businessman Alex Haditaghi, who is leading the project, announced on Facebook that homes and villas at the Hamptons Greece location will go on sale on February 1, 2023.
Greek businessmen Dimitris and Georgios Melissanidis have also reportedly invested in the luxury business venture.
Homes and villas
The Hamptons Greece will be comprised of just 280 homes and villas. According to the website, these villas will “offer ultimate luxury, privacy and space in stunning natural surroundings.”
Each villa will consist of “generously and modernly designed living areas and two to six bedrooms.” A mixture of glass and natural finishings will be used on the homes. The placement of glass around the homes will be positioned in such a way so as to maximize sunlight and ensure residents feel “connected to the breath-taking nature” visible around the site.
Residents will have access to a premium facility management team that will take care of housekeeping, gardening, security, and pool maintenance. Hamptons Greece residents will also be able to use on-site gyms and business centers. The services of chauffeurs and personal chefs will likewise be available.
The site of the luxury community itself will feature “trees, green parks, swimming pools, walking and running tracks, and other public green spaces.” Hamptons Greece says that “nature and recreation” will be at the heart of the experience for residents, who will be able to “truly relax and enjoy the beauty of the surrounding environment.”
